Former VP of Production at kids producer Little Airplane Productions Sharon Gomes is currently working on the development of "GG & Me!" "I am so excited that the first creation from Snow Rose Media is GG & Me! It provides a wonderful introduction for preschoolers into the hugely important issue of environmental awareness, while helping them build mindfulness, creativity and problem-solving skills," Gomes said. "These are all globally relevant messages which, along with the show’s warmth, fun and engaging characters and storylines, should captivate and inspire children worldwide.”

The 52-part 11-minute 2D animated series aimed at preschoolers between the ages 3-6. The title serves as the first preschool projectmade with her own company, Snow Rose Media, a consultancy that advises on all aspects of development and production.  It is designed by artist and art director Cassandra Berger, Visiting Instructor at Pratt Institute in NYC who has worked with the likes of Nick Jr, Disney Junior, Sesame Workshop and Amazon Studios.

The title focuses on encouraging peace and environmental awareness. Danielle Lindner, an education expert who founded the London Day School and is recognized for her advancements in early childhood education, contributed to the project. Accompanying the series are plans for a dedicated GG & Me! website and app featuring games, meditation exercises and additional information to expand on the themes within each episode. Each episode aims to help improve preschoolers’ concentration and focus through simple mindfulness techniques which help them calm down, pay attention and make better decisions. The nature-themed storylines teach respect for nature and our planet’s resources, while encouraging creative problem solving, perseverance and the ability to formulate ideas and action.

The series show as every Saturday morning Lilly, an energetic Asian six-year-old who loves nature, leaves her small city apartment to spend the day with her nurturing and quirky Grandma, GG, in the countryside. GG and Lilly love to share the day together, dressed up in all sorts of fun clothes, to enjoy everyday adventures, but they always encounter a challenge that involves the natural world around them, whether it’s helping the bees when there’s a honey shortage or discovering why the dolphins have disappeared from the beach. They sit together, breathe and relax, and are mindfully focused in finding the solution. GG then concocts an exciting way for them to travel to the root of the problem, such as skateboarding, surfing or hang gliding.
