SIC's “Wild Land” charms Greek audience with its local adaptation

After traveling through several territories around the world, as Albania, Brazil, Canada, Mexico and MENA region, “Wild Land” reached Greece on September, when Skai TV Channel (ΣΚΑΪ), premiered the first episode of their local format adaptation, produced by Pedio Productions, titled “Άγρια Γη.”

The show was such a success that the network has now decided to renew it for a second season. “Wild Land” is a SIC super production, executed by SP Televisão and written by Inês Gomes, author of blockbuster titles such as “Salty Sea,” “More Than Love,” “Living Passion,” “Star Hill,” and its most recent title, “Timeless Love.”

Gold Medal winner at World Media Festival 2020, “Wild Land” follows the story of a man who comes back to his hometown to seek revenge for his parents’ death, but ends up falling in love with the daughter of the woman who destroyed his life. SIC International Distribution has two versions for this title: a long running one with 328 episodes and a short format with 120 episodes.
