Tobias Schulze
Seven.One Studios International has elevated seasoned international media and sales executive Tobias Schulze to the newly created role of SVP, Global Sales, effective immediately. Based in Munich, Schulze will lead the company’s sales teams in London and Munich, while also working closely with the acquisitions and marketing divisions.
Schulze began his career in production before joining Seven.One Studios International in 2010 as a sales coordinator. Over the years, he has advanced through multiple roles, most recently serving as VP, Sales with responsibility for German- and French-speaking territories as well as Benelux. In his new position, he will report to Martin Metzger, COO of Seven.One Studios and Managing Director of Seven.One Studios International.
Offering his perspective on the appointment, Martin Metzger emphasized Schulze’s expertise and contribution to the company: "This is a very well-deserved appointment. Tobi is a talented and experienced sales executive with a wealth of knowledge about the international formats and scripted businesses. A tough but fair dealmaker, he has been instrumental in helping to grow Seven.One Studios International and is ideally placed to lead the sales team going forward. I’m looking forward to working closely with him," noted.
Responding to his promotion, Tobias Schulze expressed enthusiasm for the role: "I’m passionate about Seven.One Studios International and I’m really honoured and excited to be taking up this role. We have a number of very strong brands in our slate which are working well for broadcasters and platforms, with more to come in the future," stated.
