UNIVISION WILL PREMIERE “FORBIDDEN LOVE” IN THE UNITED STATES

Kanal D International's "Forbidden Love", the modern adaptation of the novel of the foremost Turkish author Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil, continues its journey around the world and now it will be premiered in the United States by Univision. Starring Beren Saat, Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, Hazal Kaya, Selçuk Yöntem and Nebahat Çehre, the successful Turkish drama will be aired on Univision as "Amor Prohibido" for the U.S. Hispanic audience.

In the story, having lost his wife eleven years ago, Adnan devoted all his attention to his daughter Nihal and his son Bülent. He lives in one of the most prominent mansions along the Bosphorus in Istanbul with his handsome nephew Behlül and his children's nanny. Adnan meets young and beautiful Bihter, who is also a socialite couple's daughter, and falls in love with her instantly.

Seeking for peace, safety and happiness in Adnan's mansion, instead Bihter meets with passion. Behlül and Bihter fall completely into each other and become drowned by their infatuation with each other. Their secret love affair will soon affect every member of the family.

“Forbidden Love” had its second premiere on April 6 on Kanal D. The first episode has been met with great enthusiasm both on TV screens and social media. On April 3, the teaser of the second premiere was trending topic for 22 hours, and since then, it has got 3 million interactions.
