ZDF Enterprises has completed production for four projects allocated to its unscripted Fall catalog. The titles include "Legendary Heroes," "The Year that Rocked the World," "Rescued Chimpanzees of The Congo with Jane Goodall," and "Underworld." “From history, science, and wildlife to exploring mythical legends, our factual slate will be enriched by these exciting titles,"  Ralf Rueckauer, Vice President ZDFE.unscripted, ZDF Enterprises said. "High production values and excellent storytelling bring to life the range of topics covered by the documentaries, offering great entertainment for audiences globally.”

Produced by NFP Media Rights with ARTE serving as co-producer, “Legendary Heroes,” from ZDF’s renowned Terra X documentary slot, was filmed in nine countries across Europe. The three-part series covers fantasy stories that have entertained people for centuries through legend-telling stories based on some truth.

“The Year that Rocked the World," produced by Off the Fence for CuriosityStream in association with ZDF Enterprises and zdf.info, joins "Legendary Heroes," showcasing the story of King Arthur's literary invention of the 12th century as well as the iconic, global moments from politics, cinema, crime, celebrity, sports, disasters, science, inventions, music, and the arts. The stories likely derived from a British ruler recorded during the antique ages.

“Rescued Chimpanzees of The Congo with Jane Goodall,”  produced by Off the Fence Productions alongside ZDF Enterprises and Youku, in association with Wingsight, contributes filmings from over 30 years. The series showcases Jane Goodall’s journey to create the largest chimp sanctuary in Africa. “Underworld,” produced by Off The Fence for Curiosity Stream in co-production with ZDF Enterprises and Youku, in association with Wingsight, was filmed in five international locations to showcase the largest caverns on Earth in China.
