Univision’s riveting drama, “Amanecer,” concluded its run with a powerful finale on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET, achieving its highest-rated telecast of the entire series with 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+. The gripping final episode positioned Univision as the No. 1 network across all of television during the 10 p.m. hour, outperforming ABC, CBS, NBC, Telemundo, and all cable networks among Adults 18–49 and Adults 18–34.
During the 10 p.m. hour, “Amanecer” made Univision the top Spanish-language network, achieving double-to-triple-digit audience advantages over Telemundo’s “Lejos de Ti” among Total Viewers 2+ (+92%), Adults 18–49 (+93%), and Adults 18–34 (+181%). The finale ranked as the No. 1 program across all television in primetime among U.S. Hispanics for Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18–49, and Adults 18–34. It also outperformed Telemundo’s entire primetime lineup—consisting of “La Isla: Desafío Extremo S2,” “Dinastía Casillas,” and “Lejos de Ti”—across all three key demos. Thanks to the finale’s performance, Univision finished the night as the No. 1 network overall among Adults 18–34.
Across its full run, “Amanecer” averaged 1.2 million Total Viewers 2+, positioning Univision ahead of CBS and Telemundo during the weeknight 10 p.m. hour among Adults 18–49 and Adults 18–34. The series also secured Univision’s position as the No. 1 Spanish-language network in that same timeslot, posting double-digit audience advantages over Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+46%), Adults 18–49 (+52%), and Adults 18–34 (+32%).
Airing at 10 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. CT on Univision and available for streaming on ViX, “Amanecer” told the story of Leonel Carranza (Fernando Colunga), a landowner whose inherent goodness was eclipsed by betrayal. After the abandonment of his wife and the tragic death of his daughter in a fire, Leonel sought revenge by forcing the innocent Alba Palacios (Livia Brito) into a loveless marriage, convinced she and her family were responsible. Fueled by the manipulative schemes of his sister Atocha, Leonel was drawn into a whirlwind of deceit, pain, and forbidden desire—ultimately facing his fiercest enemies and the haunting question of whether redemption was still within reach or if vengeance would destroy him completely.
