AMAZON PRIME LAUNCHES FILM1 ACTION CHANNEL IN THE NETHERLANDS

The channel, offering various Hollywood titles, will be accessible to all Prime members on compatible devices. The company has previously launched similar channels, such as Film1 Premiere, Film1 Drama and Film1 Family.

Film1's Film1 Action channel became available on Amazon Prime Video Channels in the Netherlands yesterday. “The action genre is the most popular genre on Film1, which makes the inclusion of Film1 Action on Amazon Prime Video Channels in the Netherlands particularly relevant for Dutch viewers. At Film1, we are always committed to bringing the best and the most appealing content acquired from top distributors to our viewers,” said Jeroen Bergman, Managing Director at Film1.

The channel will be featured on Film1's add-on package, through which Prime members can access a series of Hollywood titles, which complete's the company's four linear channels and streaming selection. Film1 is accessible to subscribers with compatble devices, which include TVs, mobile devices, Amazon Firesticks, and game consoles, among other devices. 

Film1 has previously launched Film1 Premiere, Film1 Drama and Film1 Family successfully, including a curated selection of on-demand content with Prime Video Channels in the Netherlands late last year.

The Film1 package, which caters to different viewing habits with four linear channels and curated on-demand content, allows Prime members to enjoy critically-acclaimed titles such as "Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen." Other highlights include "Hard Kill," "Child’s Play," "Penoza: The Final Chapter" and "Rambo: Last Blood and Angel Has Fallen."
