Autentic is further expanding its involvement in the FAST channel market. The company, which stands for high-quality documentaries and factual series, is thus strengthening its successful channel business. SPIEGEL TV Konflikte – a cooperation between Autentic and SPIEGEL TV – is now available in German-speaking countries. Adventure Earth, Autentic History, and Autentic Travel can be streamed internationally: in the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and the Netherlands. In November 2022, Autentic and OneGate Media launched the nature and wildlife channel Adventure Earth in the UK. From July, the channel will also be available in Belgium.
"With our experienced and competent team, we have been successful in the channel business for a long time: Our programs are distributed on our pay-TV channels as well as on advertising-financed digital channels such as YouTube. Therefore, expanding our activities to the FAST market is the logical next step. Our offerings in this market are partly international, partly specifically geared to the German-speaking market. This gives us a unique positioning in the market," Patrick Hörl, Managing Director of Autentic, said.
This was announced today by Autentic at Sunny Side of the Doc, the international documentary marketplace in La Rochelle, France. Autentic's FAST Channels are generally available on the Samsung TV Plus, LG, and Rakuten platforms. The portfolio will be successively expanded to include additional platforms and countries.
With this comprehensive offer, Autentic is directly active in the B2C sector for the first time. With its channel business, the leading company in factual content builds on its extensive experience in sales and distribution. Autentic also sets standards in its channels' orientation: While many FAST channel providers operate locally or globally, Autentic's offer is based on both national and international pillars. In this way, the company opens up unique perspectives for viewers worldwide.
