Nina Diaz to lead Unscripted and Adult Animation for Paramount+

Nina L. Diaz now serves as Chief Creative Officer for Unscripted Entertainment and Adult Animation for Paramount+, while remaining CCO and President of Content for MTV Entertainment Group, Variety reported. The promotion was announced by Chris McCarthy, to whom Diaz will keep reporting, in a memo to MTV Entertainment Group staffers on Thursday.

At the same time, McCarthy announced some other key appointments: Grant Gish will expand his role as Head of Adult Animation for MTVE to now include Paramount+ across Series and Movies, reporting to Diaz. Lily Neumeyer will expand her role to now include Head of Development for Unscripted Entertainment, Paramount+ and MTVE, also reporting to Nina. Lastly, Tolani Holmes is being promoted to the new role of SVP for Development, Unscripted Entertainment, Paramount+ and MTVE, reporting to Lily.

Furthermore, the company is expanding the role of several key executives to oversee its growing number of key franchises across Paramount+ and MTV Entertainment, of which all will report to Nina. These leaders include: Ben Hurvitz, Sitarah Pendelton and Todd Radnitz.

“With this realignment around Paramount+ Unscripted Entertainment and Adult Animation, we will no longer have stand-alone Movie or Alternative teams. As a result, Meghan Hooper White and Justin Rosenblatt are exiting the organization. We would like to thank both Meghan and Justin for their contributions and wish them the very best in their endeavors. Thankfully, both have strong teams who will be integrated into our content group as we align series and movies by genre,”  McCarthy concluded.
