"Sew Fierce"
OUTtv is bringing back its acclaimed competition series "Sew Fierce", commissioning a third season of the OUTtv Original produced by Sonic Nursery Creative. The new season starts production in Fall 2025 and is set to launch on OUTtv later in 2025. The eight-episode third season will see the return of season two’s co-hosts: design mentor Jaime Lujan, aka Lucinda Miu, and London based drag legend, Crystal. Benjamin Toner, the winner of Sew Fierce’s debut season, will also appear in the upcoming season as a judge.
The second season of the series launched internationally on the OUTtv platform in Spring 2024, with audiences around the world hooked. Building on the success of season one, the show achieved a 21% growth in SVOD viewership in its sophomore season, and continues to provide a one of a kind view into the creativity and design that define the art of drag.
As in previous seasons, the designers will create a look inspired by a specific theme every week, alongside completing a photoshoot to showcase their designs modelled by emerging drag artists. The judges assess each look based on their visual impact and garment construction, with one designer being eliminated at the end of each week.
