PLUTO TV LAUNCHES ITS FIRST POP-UP CHANNEL IN LATIN AMERICA, ESTRELLAS DE ACCIÓN

The new channel will offer action movies starring iconic actors and will be available from may 13 to june 10.

Pluto TV Latin America, the leading free, ad-supported, streaming video service, announced Estrellas de acción, its first pop-up channel for action movies starring iconic stars. The new channel will be available on Pluto TV live streaming and on-demand sections from May 13 to June 10.

Estrellas de acción -available on channel 50- will include action movies from Paramount, Polar, Kinpil, CDC and Beverly Hills, dubbed in Spanish to allow Spanish-speaking audiences to enjoy in their own language. Some of the featured titles include: Street Wars and Blood Alley, with Steven Seagal; The Transporter 3 and Blitz, with Jason Statham; Rambo 4 with Sylvester Stallone; The Running Man with Arnold Schwarzenegger; Conan The Barbarian with Jason Momoa; Wake of Death and Derailed, with Jean-Claude Van Damme; Dragon Blade and The Myth, with Jackie Chan; and The Warlords, with Jet Li.

The Estrellas de acción pop-up channel will also offer special marathons featuring the movies of iconic action stars: Steven Seagal, on Wednesday, May 13; Jackie Chan on Tuesday, May 19; Van Damme on Friday, May 29; and Jason Statham on Saturday, June 6.

In May, Pluto TV Latin America will also celebrate special holidays with movies and series marathons from their diverse catalog fitting the theme of the day: May 13, Leprechaun World Day: Leprechaun II, III, & IV on Pluto TV Cine Terror; May 15, Teachers’ Day in Mexico: Timothy va a la Escuela, Wayside and ChalkZone on Pluto TV Junior, Pluto TV Kids y Nick Clásico; May 16, Pierce Brosnan's  Birthday: The Son on Pluto TV Series; May 25, International Geek Pride Day: Freaks & Geeks on Pluto TV Series; and May 28, International Hamburger Day: Hamburger on Pluto TV Cocina.
 
Pluto TV Latin America has 30 unique and curated channels with hit television series and award-winning movies, across a variety of genres including reality, anime, lifestyle, reality competitions, nature, true crime, and kids’ content
 
During the next few months, Pluto TV Latin America will also add new content from different partners to reach more than 70 channels at end of year, delivering curated content to attract audiences in search of premium streaming entertainment programming in Spanish – free and for all demos.
