SPI International extends Funbox distribution deal with Swisscom Blue TV

SPI/FilmBox announced an extension for its distribution deal with Switzerland's leading telecoms company Swisscom for SPI’s 4K/UHD lifestyle channel, FunBox UHD. The channel, which features hundreds of hours of visually groundbreaking ultra-high-definition programming on culture, travel, lifestyle, art, and music, to name a few topics, will continue to be available via Swisscom’s blue TV service with German and English language options.

FunBox UHD offers premium native UHD programming dedicated to entertainment and lifestyle acquired from top producers and distributors around the globe. Through this partnership, the company hopes to grow with operating 42 TV channels, multiple digital products across six continents, and a major player in content distribution and broadcasting worldwide.

SPI continues to operate multiple free-to-air and pay-TV channels in CEE, Western Europe, CIS and Ex-Yugo regions, including key European markets such as Poland, Czechia, Romania, Serbia, the Netherlands and Russia.
