SPI INTERNATIONAL LAUNCHES FILMBOX+ STREAMING SERVICE

SPI International announced the global rollout of its enhanced streaming service FilmBox+, set to launch today. The service offers its customers on-demand content through the web, partner operators’ platforms, mobile, and TV applications. “We are delighted to announce the launch of our brand-new product FilmBox+ which will replace FilmBox Live from today on,” said Berk Uziyel, CEO at SPI International.

Viewers have access to thousands of popular and evergreen VOD titles and 8+ live channels with FilmBox+. “FilmBox+ integrates easily with operators and partner platforms to provide a seamless and well-rounded entertainment experience that places the consumer at the center,” Uziyel said.

SPI International’s new and enhanced streaming service commits to combine digital and linear together through a heavy catalog of VOD content and live channels. The establishment serves as a modified version of FilmBox Live, created with the use of infrastructure that facilitates consumer engagement and platform usage. Filmbox+ offers multiple screen availability and a lineup of content spanning movies, TV series, documentaries, and more. Most internet-connected devices such as smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, and partner operators' platforms, are compatible.

The new service’s library consists of on-demand content from major global distributors, including Hollywood blockbusters with popular creatives. Uninterrupted live channels are also offered, as well as an additional feature designed to customize the user’s selection using an analysis of their preference according to mood, genre, or special occasion, set to be added later on this year.
