SPI launches FilmBox+ with Bulsatcom in Bulgaria

SPI International has teamed up with Bulsatcom to launch the first integration of its streaming service, FilmBox+, in Bulgaria. Through this partnership, the company aims to strengthen its catalog of entertainment options for viewers. "We are thrilled to offer FilmBox+ to Bulsatcom clients, further strengthening our long-standing partnership," Murat Muratoglu, Head of Distribution at SPI International said. "Through this collaboration, we are excited to provide Bulsatcom subscribers with our premium OTT service that combines linear channels with an extensive collection of VOD content, establishing FilmBox+ as the ultimate destination for great entertainment for viewers in Bulgaria."

Presented as an all-in-one entertainment solution, Filmbox+ offers access to an extensive video-on-demand (VOD) catalog and live channels on any internet-connected device. The VOD content offers to the service's subscribers include films, TV series, documentaries, and lifestyle programming, as well as hundreds of channels, such as Gametoon, DocuBox, FashionBox, and Fast&FunBox, among others. "FilmBox+ will allow users to watch movies and series anytime and from any device with internet access," Peter Rizov, Managing Director of Bulsatcom said. "This gives the flexibility of viewing and the opportunity to enjoy their favourite content even away from home or while travelling."

Upon integrating FilmBox+ within the Bulsatcom portfolio, Bulsatcom's b•box set-top-box will be offered at a special price of BGN 3.99 for clients of the operator. One of the features highlighted from the integration is the introduction of Smart Channels. The curated playlists offer on-demand content that play back-to-back in a similar fashion to traditional linear channels. "Smart Channels are fully digital and exclusive to the FilmBox+ platform.
