Tribes Media, a Dutch Media Startup focused on developing unique SVOD brand experiences for niche content, has announced the launch of three highly curated platforms - created for specialist audiences - that will become the world’s first subscription streaming services combining multiple media including movies, series, shorts, podcasts, and audiobooks.

Myst, Glitch, and Selego are available today for web, Android and iOS in 40 countries throughout Latin America and Europe. Each service has a different target audience:

●  Myst is directed to the Mystery fans. Suspense, crime, horror and SciFi in one place. Myst is for those that find in suspense the essence of storytelling, that love asking questions and enjoy discovering answers slowly and dramatically unfold.
●  Glitch is focused on animated storytelling. It aspires to be both a passionate global community and an ecosystem that celebrates imagination and creativity.
●  Selego was developed for audiences that want something beyond the mainstream content found in existing streaming platforms. It's a platform for proactive, independent minds who have an opinion about what is going on in our society.
 
Tribes Media was founded by Roberto Soto, a senior media executive with an extensive international career leading the strategy and operations of the streaming and subscription business for key global media groups such as Liberty, Fox International, ViacomCBS, and startups like MUBI. "After researching the market and interviewing the fans, we realized that niche audiences have a frustrating experience. The content is often hard to find, is not curated, not contextualized, and the fans need to pay different platforms to get different formats. To solve this, the core elements of our value proposition are curation and multiformat. There is so much content out there like films, series, audiobooks, and podcasts, therefore there is a huge value in having someone that loves the same niche as you picking just the best content for you to watch or listen to, saving you all the time, money and effort of using different platforms”, said Roberto Soto, Founder of Tribes Media.
 
Currently, Tribes Media has secured distribution agreements with more than 50 international companies and is working to continue increasing its programming offering for each service, as well as expanding soon to new territories in Europe.
