"Destinada a ser la dueña"
ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service, announced the launch of its new microcontent, a slate of short-form, vertical scripted series designed specifically for mobile-first audiences.
Rafael Urbina, President of Streaming and Digital at TelevisaUnivision focused on the storytelling: “Our new microcontent combines the power of storytelling with an innovative format that not only meets young viewers where they are but serves as an entry point into our broader content ecosystem.” He emphasized that this launch marks a new era for Spanish-language content, positioning ViX at the forefront of delivering compelling and attention-grabbing original stories," stated.
The first six original titles premiere today. These include “El regreso de la Heredera Fugitiva,” “Te escribí antes de conocerte,” “Intensamente Victoria,” “Me fui gata volví perra,” “¡Mamá, no me dejes morir!” and “Destinada a ser la dueña.” Trailers and the first five episodes of each microdrama will be released across ViX Micro’s official social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X. The remaining episodes of each series will be available exclusively on the ViX app.
Looking ahead, new microcontent will premiere weekly beginning July 25, with a total of 40 original series set to launch throughout the remainder of 2025. ViX currently offers over 80,000 hours of on-demand content and more than 80 streaming channels, all in Spanish. The platform is available across major mobile platforms, connected TV devices, and online at vix.com in the U.S., Mexico, and most Spanish-speaking Latin American countries.
