Abidjan International Audiovisual Content Exhibition, known as "SICA," will soon launch its inaugural forum to promote and enhance Pan-African audiovisual content. The exclusive in-person event will take place from 20 to 22 November, 2023, at the Sofitel Abidjan Hotel Ivoire. "SICA 2023 is a dream realized, a platform where African creativity knows no bounds, and we aim to foster collaboration and innovation within the audiovisual landscape,” Liliane da Cruz, Content Director and Consultant of SICA 2023 said.
The announced guest speakers and panelists for SICA 2023 include Producer at Johannesburg - based production company Diprente, Kagiso Lediga; CEO and Producer of Make It Happen Studio, Sydney Gallonde; COO of Kukua, Vanessa FORD; Head of Drama at Canal+ International, Cécile Gerardin; and Co-Founder of Nigerian based production company Inkblot Productions, Zulumoke Oyiba.
The three-day program will feature an array of experiences, including keynote presentations, industry talks, roundtable discussions, networking sessions, masterclasses, and captivating screenings and exclusive premieres from renowned TV studios. The diverse content genres on display encompass fiction series, documentaries, entertainment formats, kids’ content, and movies, ensuring there's something for everyone in this immersive and educational journey. The event will provide the opportunity to connect with over 150 carefully selected participants, including content creators, producers, and industry experts.
