“The White House”
Passion Distribution returns to the Asia TV Forum and Market (ATF) with a portfolio of high-end factual and documentary content, highlighting exceptional storytelling from some of the industry’s most respected creators.
Leading the slate is “The White House” (4x60’), produced by Nutopia for Fox Nation. This new docu-drama opens the doors to the world’s most iconic residence, uncovering its hidden stories and controversies. The debut season explores the lives of America’s first Presidential families — John & Abigail Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James & Dolley Madison — revealing the turbulent and sometimes startling personal narratives that unfolded as the young nation struggled to define its identity, stability, and future.
Also delving into the past, “The Quest for Camelot” (1x60’), produced by Pioneer Productions for Thirteen (WNET Group) and SBS, follows Professor Mark Horton as he uses advanced scanning technology and newly uncovered archaeological findings to investigate whether the legendary Camelot may have historical roots.
Joining Passion Distribution’s lineup, “Will AI Take My Job?” (1x60’), produced by Kalel Productions for Channel 4, addresses one of today’s most urgent questions. With artificial intelligence evolving at remarkable speed, this bold documentary conducts an unprecedented experiment, placing humans and AI head-to-head across four professions: a GP, a fashion photographer, a trainee solicitor, and a composer.

Rounding out the slate, “Monsters of the Deep” (2x60’), produced by Mentorn Media and Krempelwood for Channel 5, blends striking on-location filming with cutting-edge CGI. Renowned adventurer and wildlife presenter Steve Backshall takes audiences on an extraordinary journey into the ocean’s most shadowy depths, revealing the astonishing creatures that inhabit these mysterious underwater realms.
The company’s presence at ATF follows a strong year of sales and expanding partnerships throughout Asia, underscoring the region’s ongoing demand for distinctive factual series and entertainment. Over the past six months, Passion Distribution has secured a series of notable deals, including the landmark special “Miracles” for AETN18 India, and returning titles “The Architecture the Railways Built” and “The Cotswolds with Pam Ayres” for I-Cable Hong Kong. In Japan, NHK acquired “Monsters of the Deep”, while Phoenix Television picked up the insightful documentaries “Kate” and “Trump Revolution: 100 World Changing Days”.
