There are currently several interesting drama titles in development. "Prime Minister – A Very Finnish Scandal" (6x45’), produced by Vertigo, is inspired by the true story of Sanna Marin —Finland’s youngest Prime Minister. The series is written by Camilla Ahlgren, ("The Bridge"), Director Timo Vuorensola ("Iron Sky), will make his series directorial debut with action series "Arrowhead" (6x45’), by Reelmedia and Elisa Viihde, an action-thriller set in St. Tropez.

Other intriguing projects in development include the drama thriller "The Border" (6x42’) by Whatever Pictures with MTV, set in the ruggedly beautiful northern wilderness along the Finnish-Russian border.

The Finnish-Korean co-production "Blueprint of a Crime" (6x45’), from Moskito Television with MTV, is an elegant psychological thriller, while "Sherlock North"(6x45’), by Snapper Films, is a thrilling, cinematic blend of Nordic style and US crime procedural pace.

Scheduled to take place on Wednesday 3rd December, a networking event ”Drinks with the Finns” organised by APFI’s Focus on Finland initiative will connect international industry peers and Finnish producers behind these inspiring new projects.
