DeAPlaneta Entertainment will attend Brand Licensing Europe (BLE), an international event which, from 24 to 26 September, will bring together retailers, manufacturers and licensees in London to close deals and forge alliances that will make it possible to create new product lines for the most exciting IPs of the moment. Their team, led by Antonella Ceraso, International Consumer Product Director of DeAPlaneta Kids & Family, will be present at ExCel London, where some of the company's established and emerging brands, such as "MILO", "Hero Inside", "Unicorn Academy", "Miraculous and Maya" will be on display. Let's briefly review each of the brands below.
A few days before its debut in the United States, where it will begin airing on 1 October on public broadcaster PBS Kids, "MILO" will land at BLE. The meeting will also coincide with the premiere of the second season in several European territories: a new batch of episodes eagerly awaited by children who follow the series co-produced by Fourth Wall and DeAPlaneta Entertainment in more than 170 countries on four continents, and who, through the colorful adventures of the charismatic cat and his friends, discover the wonderful and varied world of vocations, learning that all professions are amazing.
DeAPlaneta Entertainment is the distributor in Europe and LATAM of "Hero inside", a CJ Entertainment, Million Volt and Tencent production, a true animated blockbuster that makes any child or teenager's dream come true: to have their favorite superhero appear in front of them, in the flesh, just by saying their name. With this premise and a gallery of characters with the peculiar ability to turn their weaknesses into superpowers, Hero Inside combines adventure, humor and action, and defends imagination above all else. The second season of the series will arrive in several territories before the end of the year, and DeAPlaneta has recently reached an agreement with Focus UK for its distribution in the UK.
"Unicorn Academy" tells the story of Sophia, a girl with an ordinary life who, one day, discovers her true destiny: to be a unicorn rider. To do so, she must begin her studies at a very special academy, where she will learn to relate to these fantastic animals, discovering that the bonds we form with our loved ones are powerful, and can take us to incredible places. DeAPlaneta Entertainment licenses in France the rights to this hit Netflix original production, whose second season premiered in summer 2024.
It's been almost ten years since audiences first met Marinette, the Parisian teenager who leads a busy double life as the superheroine Ladybug, sharing adventures with the arrogant Cat Noir. To celebrate the anniversary, Miraculous Day will be held on 28 September, with various activities around the series, a benchmark in contemporary animation. DeAPlaneta manages the rights in Spain, Italy and CEE for the Miraculous brand, a phenomenon in continuous expansion, whose seventh season is already in preparation, in parallel with a new line of toys.
Finally, since its premiere in 1975, "Maya the Bee" has been broadcast in 190 countries and has united several generations of viewers. Its main character is a curious little bee, who lives out of the hive and thinks outside the box, like most kids do. The series transmits to children and families such relevant issues as the commitment to sustainability and the defense of biodiversity. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of this iconic character, several events will be held in Spain and Italy in 2025 under the slogan ‘BEE50’ and a commemorative logo.
