"The Draw"
Sales company Film Seekers has acquired international rights to VIEW35 Films debut Sci-Fi-Thriller "The Draw" and is promoting it at Marché du Film. The film was written and Directed by Tom Ruddock, and produced by Shelley Ruddock, the filmmaking duo co-founders of VIEW35 Films. The story is by Tom Ruddock and Dr Matthew Mills.
The film stars Ryan Gage ("The Hobbit Franchise") and Lara Lemon ("War of the Worlds: The Attack"), who lead alongside Sanjeev Kohli (BBC’s "Still Game"), Samuel Clemens ("Slammer"), Marie Everett ("What Happened To Monday") and Rozelle Gemma ("Dark Game").
Billed as 1984 meets Equilibrium (2002), the film is set in an overpopulated world which is becoming more and more digitised, with all analogue imagery restricted and replaced with a new technology called ‘The Eyelight’. Two uncompromising characters try to navigate the system in a game that fights back.
A View35 Films Production, the film is in association with West One Entertainment, Brick and Mortar, Really Bright Media and Restless Natives Studios. Glen Kirby ("The Pugilist") and James Heath ("The Fitzoy"), Dr Matthew Mills, Alan Marks and Pauline Marks serve as executive producers.
