"Forked"
Kaleidoscope Film Distribution (KFD) acquires worldwide sales rights for new seven titles that it will represent at the forthcoming Marche du Film 2024. "The Problem with People" stars Colm Meaney (worldwide ex North America), and it set and shot in Ireland. The title is directed and produced by Chris Cottam, written by Paul Reiser and Wally Marzano-Lesnevich and produced by Max Brady.
"The Listener" (worldwide ex North America, UK & Ireland) stars Tessa Thompson ("Creed") and is directed by acting legend Steve Buscemi ("Fargo").
"Haunt Season" (worldwide sales ex. North America) is a gloriously unhinged horror where a masked killer targets the actors of a haunted house attraction, mercilessly turning their characters’ fates into blood-soaked reality. The film stars Katelin Stack ("The Evil Three"), Sarah Elizabeth, Janet Jurado and Adam Hinkle.
KFD will also be premiering first footage from its animated feature, "The Land of Sometimes", in a series of special invitation only screenings from 2pm, day two, Wednesday 15th May. They recently boarded worldwide sales for the project.
In addition to these four feature releases, Kaleidscope has acquired sales rights for "Forked" (worldwide ex. North America, UK & Ireland), the award-winning documentary depicting the restaurant misadventures of US celebrity chef Susan Feniger. "Forked" is directed and produced by Liz Lachman and produced by Lisa Donmall-Reeve of LDRCreative.
Additionally, KFD has acquired worldwide sales rights (ex. a handful of minor territory specific limited rights) for "George Michael: Portrait of an Artist", the definitive story of the beloved British music legend.
KFD has also acquired worldwide sales rights for "Never Look Away" (ex. UK & Ireland, North America, Aus/NZ), the unbelievable, yet entirely true story of award-winning photojournalist, Margaret Moth, brought to vivid light by acclaimed actress and activist, Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess, Spartacus), in her directorial debut.
