"Six Days in Evergreen" and "The Legend of Van Dorn"
Artist View Entertainment will be screening two new films from Shane Stanley, the two-time Emmy® Award-winner, musician and filmmaker, at the Cannes Film Festival. "Six Days in Evergreen", starring Dawn Olivieri ("Yellowstone") in her debut lead singing role, and "The Legend of Van Dorn", based on the life of Civil War General Earl Van Dorn, whose personal demons ultimately led to his demise and radically changed the outcome of the war.
"Six Days in Evergreen" is the story of a renowned but struggling rock star who returns to her small town and unexpectedly reconnects with her first love and former songwriting partner. She must repair the damaged friend and family relationships she left in the wake of her fame years ago. Over 20 original songs from Stanley, along with Grammy® nominated composer and producer Ran Pink and film and commercial composer Tommy Fields, are in the soundtrack and have been cleared for worldwide usage and licensing.
The stellar cast also includes Penelope Ann Miller ("The Artist"), Johnny Whitworth ("Empire Records"), Richard Burgi ("The Sentinel"), A Martinez ("Ambulance"), Grammy Award-winner Debby Boone, Kaitlin Doubleday ("Empire"), and Reggie Austin ("Agent Carter").
