Content Americas 2024: All3media unveils a new slate of content

All3Media International has unveiled details about the slate of non-scripted, scripted content it plans to present at Content Americas. The dramas will be available to buyers across Latin America. “I am thrilled to offer this impressive range of content from our genre leading producers," Vice President, Latin America & US Hispanic, Yari Torres said. Available for pre-sale opportunities across the region is Snowed-In Productions' "Joan," led by Sophie Turner, who plays the UK’s most notorious jewel thief, Joan Hannington. The title follow the twists and turns in Joan’s life, the ups and downs, her heartache and the joy and firey determination to build a better life for her young daughter.

The title will join the comic thriller "Passenger," is available for pre-sale opportunities in the region. Led by BAFTA winner Wumni Musaka, the six part series follows DS Riya, a local policewoman desperate to find her one big case in the sleepy village of Chadder Vale. When a young woman is mysteriously abducted, the village of barely has time to register the disappearance before she reappears unharmed the next day. Life quickly resumes as normal but for Riya none of this sits right. As a series of strange happenings unfold the village is sent spinning off its axis and Riya must fights to convince the villagers all is not as it seem

Available now to buyers across the region is the engrossing crime drama and a compelling coming of age story are seamlessly combined in Goalpost Pictures’ "Black Snow." Led by Viking’s Travis Fimmel, this series centers on the murder of 17-year-old Isabel Baker in 1995. The case was never solved, but decades later a time capsule reopens the police investigation, casting suspicion across the whole town and fracturing the harmony that has taken 25 years to rebuild. 

Also available from All3Media International’s premium factual slate is an impressive range of acclaimed and anticipated documentaries from genre leading producers. Award-winning team at Raw, the multi-award-winning team behind The Tinder Swindler and Don’t F**k with Cats, return with Dead in the Water, a three part documentary which traces the decades-long hunt for a brutal killer across two sides of the Atlantic. From the Emmy-winning team at 72 Films’ "Shakespeare: Rise of a Genius" is a documentary that depicts the life of Shakespeare. The series’ forensic research and authoritative storytelling are brought to life through a host of A-list stars including Dame Judi Dench, Dame Helen Mirren, Brian Cox, Adrian Lester and Jessie Buckley. 

All3Media International’s scripted slate also features a number of new thrillers, including the four part series "Captivated." From Story Films, the award-winning team behind Witness Number Three and The Thief, His Wife and The Canoe this nail-biting psychological thriller follows a young mother and her son, who find themselves on pulled into the orbit of a wealthy businessman who harbours a dark, disturbing secret from his past. The list also includes a new season of Jed Mercurio’s high octane series, "Trigger Point." Vicky McClure’s returns to the lead role of bomb disposal expert Lana Washington, who finds herself pushed to her limits as she goes undercover, in an attempt to unmask the figurehead of the paranoid, delusional cell before they cause total devastation. 

The factual slate also includes the Australian version of Gordon Ramsay’s "Future Food Stars." Featuring a smart twist on the original version of the series Ramsay is on the hunt for the most exciting and innovative food and drink entrepreneurs in Australia.  Pitted against Australian business mogul Janine Allis, both are investing $250,000, as they hunt for Australia’s most exciting and innovative new food and drink ideas, to mentor and develop their success.

In addition, All3Media International’s global format phenomenon "The Traitors" is available for format and tape deals. A confirmed international hit, 25 versions of idtv’s format have been commissioned worldwide, including Peacock’s Emmy winning version and BBC’s BAFTA winning series. The company is also handling format rights for Primal Media’s highly anticipated first its-kind reality format, "The Underdog." The format focuses on a group competing in what they believe is a popularity contest. In this group is the titular underdog, an ordinary person who is unfazed about being crowned winner and who is an distinctly normal character to see on reality TV.
