Blue Ant Studios has signed new distribution deals for its premium unscripted programming in Spain. In the run-up to Content Americas 2025, the studio has secured sales for several premium unscripted series with AMC Networks International Southern Europe and Warner Bros. Discovery Spain across its History, Factual Entertainment and Formats categories. The new sales underscore Blue Ant Studios’ expanding footprint in the Spanish market, driven by the growing demand for high-quality unscripted entertainment with Spanish-speaking audiences.

AMC Networks International Southern Europe has opted for a bundle of formats and factual content, including Seasons 1-3 of "Best in Miniature" (26x60'), a unique competition series showcasing the creativity of miniature artists; Seasons 1-4 of "Race Against the Tide" (40x60'), a thrilling sand sculpting competition; "David Rocco’s Dolce Southeast Asia" (13x30’), which explores the vibrant food cultures of Southeast Asia; and "David Rocco’s Dolce Italia" (Seasons 1-3, 39x30’ and Season 4, 13x30’ & 1x60’), a culinary journey through Italy’s regional flavors.

Rounding out the deals is a three-season order, by Warner Bros. Discovery Spain, of "Mysteries from Above" (30x60'), an exhilarating series exploring remote and hard-to-reach locations through aerial drone footage.

"We are thrilled to see such strong demand for our unscripted content in Spain and look forward to offering these premium titles to more buyers in LATAM at Content Americas this week,” says Maria Ibarra, VP, International Sales, U.S. Hispanic, LATAM and Iberia, Blue Ant Studios. "These sales truly reflect a growing appetite for premium, high-impact entertainment. 'Best in Miniature' and 'Race Against the Tide' have captivated global audiences with their focus on craftsmanship and outdoor audiences, while 'Mysteries from Above' offers a fresh perspective on history and science. Meanwhile, 'David Rocco’s Dolce Southeast Asia' has sparked interest with its exploration of vibrant food cultures across Southeast Asia, while 'David Rocco’s Dolce Vita' remains a favorite for its celebration of Italy’s regional flavors, from Tuscany to the Amalfi Coast."
