NATPE Global announced industry expert, producer and CEO of Epyllion, Matthew Ball, as the opening keynote speaker. The return of NATPE Global will take place on January 16 to 18, 2024, at the InterContinental Miami, a large-scale luxury convention venue conveniently located in the heart of the city’s vibrant downtown district.

“Matthew Ball is a creative visionary and we are honored he will be presenting our opening keynote. His insightful views on the state of the global media business landscape, future economics of video content production, monetization, and consumption will provide invaluable intel to the NATPE Global audience. As the first global marketplace on the content industry’s calendar, NATPE Global is a one-stop shop for entertainment, from concept to delivery,”  said Claire Macdonald, Executive Director at NATPE Global.

The first video stream took place three decades ago, yet the industry still feels far from streaming’s endpoint. Business and talent models remain in flux, the dawn of mixed reality and AI has only just arrived, and the brands and franchises that once dominated are (finally?) ceding share. Ball’s keynote will address these areas and take a look at what is streaming’s next act.

In addition to prime keynote presentations, the conference and marketplace will feature thought-leadership panel discussions, regional buyer spotlights, exhibition pavilions and suites, screenings, and exclusive networking opportunities. Delegates will have unique and powerful opportunities to build and cultivate the domestic and international relationships that will drive their businesses forward.

With already more than 30 countries represented and over 160 buyers registered, NATPE Global will bring together some of the most important buyers and sellers of projects in development and catalogue programming as well as decision-makers from the entire media ecosystem spanning content development, licensing, and platform distribution.
