Kanal D International announced that “Broken Promise” has been nominated for Best Telenovela at the Rose d'Or Latinos Awards 2025. Produced by SIC and SP Televisão, the series is an adaptation of the Turkish format “Ruthless City”, from Kanal D. Distribution is handled by SIC International Distribution and Kanal D International.
“This nomination is the recognition of our high production standards and the talent and dedication of the entire production team,” Kanal D International stated.
Written by Inês Gomes and Cândida Ribeiro, and directed by Jorge Queiroga, whose creative visions have been key to the success of this telenovela, this story focuses on the relationship between two families who end up involved in a secret deal, giving rise to conflicts, but also forbidden passions tangled up in a complicated plot.
The Final Gala will take place on January 21, 2025, at the Hilton Miami Downtown, during Content Americas.
