MIP London announced its complete programme for the inaugural five-day international content and networking market, set to take place from 23-27 February 2025. The event will feature a high-profile lineup of speakers representing over 50 companies from around the world.
Designed to bring together industry professionals for business development and networking, the multi-genre programme aims to enhance opportunities within the global TV industry. Attendees can expect main stage headline sessions, screenings, showcases, summits, presentations, workshops, and matchmaking events, running from 10:00 AM on Sunday, 23 February, through Thursday, 27 February, at the IET London and Savoy Hotel.
Among the latest additions to the forward-thinking lineup is an ‘in conversation’ session with Pedro Pina, VP YouTube EMEA, scheduled for Wednesday, alongside a discussion on the Content Creator economy with Eve Sherlock, LIVE Content Lead-Europe at TikTok, on Tuesday. Additionally, a session on cross-platform strategies and partnerships between UK broadcasters and YouTube will feature Matt Risley, Managing Director of 4Studio, and Neil Price, Film & TV Partnerships Lead Manager UK at YouTube, on Monday. Attendees can also look forward to a live recording of The Media Odyssey podcast with Marion Ranchet and Evan Shapiro as part of the Global Streaming Strategies Summit hosted by Shapiro on Wednesday. These sessions join the previously announced special fireside chat with David Beckham and Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, Bela Bajaria, which will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 AM on the main stage at the IET London.

It provides daily opportunities for content discovery with must-see format showcases and scripted screenings from around the world while fostering conversations, connections, and partnerships that drive business throughout the week in London," commented.
The programme highlights also include the first London editions of MIPFORMATS and MIPDOC, running from Sunday to Tuesday, with a strong focus on unscripted content. Key elements include the MIPDOC Co- Production Summit, the MIPFORMATS Pitch presented in partnership with FOX Entertainment Global, and the Fresh TV Formats presentation by The WIT. New additions include an insights session from K7 Media titled ‘Unscripted 2025: Breaking Boundaries, Shaping Stories.’
International unscripted format showcases will feature two presentations from Talpa Studios, alongside a major focus on emerging Asian formats. Highlights include sessions from KOCCA and TV Asahi on Monday and Yomiuri TV on Tuesday, along with presentations on Japanese content, including FRESH TV JAPAN and a multi-genre session supported by MIC and BEAJ. Scripted content will also take center stage with screenings, including the horror comedy "Soul Sucker" from Dori Media and a world premiere screening from Robert Gillings Productions on Tuesday.
Digital-first content will be explored in sessions such as ‘Shaping Success in the Digital-First Era: Insights From Production, Distribution & Commissioning,’ hosted in partnership with TellyCast. This session, featuring Anouk van Dijk (Head of Sales & Co-Productions, Quintus Media), Matt Campion (Founder and Creative Director, Spirit Studios), and Amie Parker-Williams (Director, Digital Commissioning and Production, MTV and Comedy Central), will take place on Thursday at 10:15 AM. Another session, ‘Bridging the Gap: When Linear Meets Digital,’ featuring Creator Harini Bhat (Today I Learned Science) and Adam Dylewski (Executive Producer and Senior Director of Programming at PBS), will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM.
The event will also place a spotlight on branded entertainment, with a session focused on equipping producers with the tools to build successful collaborations with brands and agencies. Speakers include George Cowin (Co-Founder & Co-CEO, Cowshed Collective), Carlotta Rossi Spencer (Head of Branded Entertainment Business Development, Banijay Entertainment), and Joshua Barnett (Managing Director, After Party Studios). This session is scheduled for Tuesday at 9:45 AM.
A transformation-led Kids Summit will feature notable UK and European commissioners, including Patricia Hidalgo (BBC Director, Children and Education), Claire Heinrich (Deputy Director, Head of Acquisitions Children's & Youth, France Télévisions), and Luca Milano (Executive Director, RAI Kids). Additional contributors include representatives from next-generation media company Animaj, AAA-gaming specialists The Gang, digital media and creator platform TheSoul Publishing, digital content studio and network Little Dot Studios, and insight specialists Ampere Analysis. The Kids Summit will take place on Thursday at 2:00 PM.
Finally, nearly 1,600 delegates from over 70 countries have registered for MIP London, including almost 800 buyers. These attendees represent companies engaging in meetings, content showcases, and programme partnerships, as well as individuals participating in the market.
