NATPE Budapest announces key delegations from Ukraine, Spain and the US

NATPE Budapest announced that delegations from the Organization of Ukrainian Producers (OUP), Spain’s ICEX and the Independent Film and Television Alliance (IFTA) in the United States will be attending this year’s market.

NATPE Budapest announced that delegations from the Organization of Ukrainian Producers (OUP), Spain’s ICEX and the Independent Film and Television Alliance (IFTA) in the United States will be attending this year’s market, taking place from June 19 to 22 at the InterContinental Budapest Hotel.

Created in March 2022 in response to the Russian army’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, OUP’s mission is to create documentary and fiction projects about Russian military aggression in Ukraine, supporting movie professionals in hard times and bringing personal stories of living through this conflict to the world.

ICEX Spain Trade and Investment promotes foreign investment in Spain and provides services to help Spanish companies internationalize their businesses, while the Independent Film & Television Alliance (IFTA) supports, protects and advances the global independent film and television industry. Its membership includes more than 140 companies from 23 countries.

With a legacy of more than 30 years, NATPE Budapest will feature a growing contingent of exhibitors including Fox Entertainment Global, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal Global Distribution, Paramount Global Content Distribution, Sony Pictures Television, StudioCanal, Warner Bros. International Television Production and Distribution, as well as more than 300 buyers confirmed that span linear TV channels, streaming platforms and distribution companies.

NATPE Budapest will also offer a three-day conference program of unmissable keynotes, presentations, panel discussions, and also NATPE Budapest’s signature Pitch & Play LIVE! format competition. In addition, the event will present panel discussions looking at how public broadcasters in the region are succeeding with streaming strategies, CEE market potential from the point of view of several leading international distributors.
