North America’s content marketplace NATPE Global has confirmed a slew of appointments rounding out the team ahead of its return to Miami next year from January 16 to 18 at the InterContinental Hotel. These executives will be led by newly appointed Executive Director Claire Macdonald, who recently oversaw NATPE Budapest.

First of all, Jen Fitzgerald joins as Senior Conference Producer. Fitzgerald brings extensive experience producing large scale in-person/virtual events and awards programs including The Canadian Comedy Awards, CANCOM Comedy Symposium and most recently for other Brunico properties including Realscreen Summit, Realscreen Awards, Marketing Evolution Summit, and Media Innovation Awards.

Brian Boudreau has been named Sales Manager. Boudreau has worked for Brunico for nearly seven years, starting as Event Sales Representative for all company events in 2016 and eventually working his way up to Senior Account Manager with Playback Magazine and the Banff World Media Festival (BANFF.) Throughout six Festivals and numerous publications, Boudreau has played an instrumental role in growing and evolving the Playback / BANFF brands (both of which are staples in the Canadian B2B media industry) through innovative partnerships and strategic business development, as well as a focus on client experience and ROI.

Cesar Diaz will join as Buyer Relations Manager, Latin America and US Hispanic. Based in Miami, Cesar Diaz is a seasoned executive in the television distribution industry who now leads his own company, 7A Media, dedicated to content development, international sales and consulting. For more than 30 years he has worked for various Latin American television enterprises including Radio Caracas Television (Venezuela), Telefe (Argentina), Telefónica de España (Spain) and a career 22 years with Cisneros Media Distribution, formerly Venevision International (Venezuela).

Expanding their remit to represent NATPE Global in addition to NATPE Budapest are Victoria Elmacioglu, the new Head of Buyer Relations and Business Development Manager, Europe; and Jose Sanchez, recently appointed as Business Development Manager.

NATPE Global will host the most important buyers and sellers of projects in development and catalogue programming, as well as providing access to distribution decision-makers from leading connected TV device manufacturers and MVPDs. At the heart of NATPE Global is a networking-first approach offering delegates unique and powerful opportunities to build and cultivate the domestic and international relationships that will drive their businesses forward.

Most recently, Brunico successfully reinvigorated NATPE Budapest with growth on every front including a 20% increased attendance, 366 qualified buyers, 112 exhibitors, more than 400 companies, and 60 countries represented.
