After recently being a finalist at New York Festivals TV & Film Awards, SIC's "The Secret" is now awarded the silver medal at World Media Festivals, in Entertainment, in the Telenovelas category. Two international distinctions for this long-running drama, currently airing on the Portuguese audience's leader free TV channel SIC, highlight our excellent quality production standards and ranks our productions among the best in the world.

For 23 years, World Media Festivals have distinguished the best in audiovisuals. The festival is held in Hamburg and is one of the most critical events in the industry. Produced by SIC and SP Televisão, 'The Secret' is an intense drama about twins who never saw each other nor knew the other existed. A mother who never knew that her second daughter survived the birth, and a father who never knew he had a biological son. Yet the secret behind it is hidden in the past.

Recently, SIC's "Praxx" also received recognition with the bronze medal, at New York Festivals TV & Film Awards, in the Streaming Drama category. The award reflects the quality of production and the narrative interest of this impactful fictional story, inspired by actual life events. "Praxx" is currently available on the streaming platforms OPTO, Amazon Prime Video Portugal, and soon Spain. Other SIC originals nominated as finalists include Still in Streaming Drama category "Santiago" and "The Good Girls Club" S03; in the Telenovelas category, "High Note" and "The Secret," and in History & Society category, the documentary "Spoils of War."
