Sportel, the leading international event for the global sports media and technology industry, announced its highly anticipated return to Asia. The next Sportel will take place in Singapore from 24 to 25 March 2026 at the Orchard Hotel Singapore, further expanding Sportel’s global footprint after successful editions in Miami (2025) and Bali (2024).

Singapore, a premier hub for international business and innovation, offers a unique position as a gateway to Asia. Its world-class infrastructure, business-friendly environment, and outstanding accessibility make it the ideal destination to bring together the global sports business community. Singapore also serves as a strategic meeting point for Asia-based companies to engage with the global Sportel network in a setting that reflects their market, their timezone, and their business priorities.

Laurent Puons, Managing Director of Monaco Mediax defended the return to that region: “Following a strong demand from our Sportel community, it was clear that a return to Asia was essential. Singapore is not only a dynamic, innovation-driven city, but also a real crossroads for the entire Asian market. After Miami in 2025, coming back to Singapore in 2026 is a natural step in our international strategy," noted.

Finally, Agnes Marsan, Executive Director of Sportel Singapore, highlighted Singapore's vibrant energy and dynamic spirit: “We are delighted to return to Singapore, where Sportel was last held in 2018. The incredible energy of the city, its ease of access, and its reputation as Asia’s sport business hub make it the perfect platform to reunite the industry and develop new synergies," expressed.

The two-day event will offer a premium marketplace and conference summit, gathering key decision-makers from across the international sports media, broadcast, and technology sectors, with a strong focus on expanding opportunities in Asia and beyond.
