The Toronto International Film Festival unveils new slate of primetime series

 The event is scheduled to take place next month, 7–17 September 2023.

The Toronto International Film Festival has unveiled its Primetime program for 2023, unveilling nine series from various parts of the globe, including eight World Premieres. The event is scheduled to take place next month, 7–17 September 2023. “This year’s Primetime program is bigger than ever and gives audiences the exclusive and unmatched opportunity to celebrate the best new international series together, in cinema, on the big screen,” Anita Lee, TIFF Chief Programming Officer said. 

The program includes "Alice & Jack," by Victor Levin, Juho Kuosmanen, Hong Khaou from United Kingdom,"All the Light We Cannot See" by Shawn Levy and Steen Knight from USA, "Bay Boy" by Hagar Ben-Asher, Ron Leshem, Daniel Chen, Roee Florentin, Moshe Malka, Amit Cohen, Daniel Amsel from israel, Bargain Byun Seung-min and Jeon Woo-sung from South Korea, "Black Life: Untold Stories" by Leslie Norville from Canada, "Bria Mack Gets A Life" by Sasha Leigh Henry from Canada, Estonia by Miikko Oikkonen from Finland/Sweden/Belgium/Estonia, Expats by Lulu Wang for USa, and "Telling Our Story" by Kim O’Bomsawin in Canada.

TIFF will respect SAG-AFTRA protocols regarding the participation of its members at the Festival. TIFF is a not-for-profit cultural organization whose mission is to transform the way people see the world through film. Its projects include the annual Toronto International Film Festival in September; TIFF Bell Lightbox, which features five cinemas, major exhibitions, and learning and entertainment facilities; and innovative national distribution program Film Circuit. The organization generates an annual economic impact of approximately $200 million CAD.
