VISION FILMS UNVEILS ITS HIGHLIGHTS FOR AFM MARKET

The distribution company will present a varied slate that include a new crime thriller; documentaries and diverse and attractive films at the American Film Market that will take place in November.

Vision Films reveled its feature film slate for the American Film Market that will take place from 6th to 13th November. One of the highlights of the company will be the new dramatic/crime thriller “Adverse” directed by Brian A. Metcalf, starring Academy Awards Nominees Mickey Rourke (“The Wrestler”) and Sean Astin (“The Lord of the Ring Trilogy”), Golden Globe Nominee Penelope Ann Miller (“The Artist”), Thomas Ian Nicholas (“American Pie”), Golden Globe and Emmy Nominee Lou Diamond Phillips (“Courage Under Fire”) and Andrew Keegan (“10 Things I Hate About You”).

Other great title will be “Teslafy Me”, a feature documentary directed by Janja Glogovac about the life of Nikola Tesla featuring interviews with Tesla’s great-nephew William Terbo, Brank Terizic (“Senior Fellow at the Global Energy Center”), world-famous artist Marina Abramovic, and composer and DJ Gramatik.

Other Vision feature films debuting at the American Film Market include the female-centered biker action film “Nation’s Fire”, a Sci-fi action thriller “Transit 17”, the feature documentary “Banksy and the Rise of Outlaw Art”, featuring rate interviews with Banksy himself, and “Days of Rage: The Rolling Stones’ Road to Altamont”, featuring interviews with the Stones’ tour manager Sam Cutler, Stones’ photographer Gered Mankowitz, and many more.

Our Director of Domestic Distribution and Marketing Kristen Bedno will also be in attendance.”

Vision Films will be releasing these titles under their own DVD and VOD label in North America from November through January, and will be offering them to other distributors around the world.  Private screenings of “Adverse” and “Teslafy Me” will be held during the AFM for domestic and international buyers.
