Duhok International Film Festival
The films of the Kurdish Panorama and World Vision sections were introduced in the 11th edition of the Duhok international film festival in Kurdistan region, Iraq. According to the report of independent journalist Mansour Jahani, this edition of Duhok International Film Festival will showcase 107 films by directors of different geographical backgrounds, in a variety of formats such as feature films, shorts, and documentaries in the two categories of competition and out-of-competition.
FEATURE FILMS IN WORLD VISION
Bangin Ali, the deputy secretary of the 11th edition of the Duhok International Film Festival, said about the films of the out-of-competition World Vision section at this film event: for this section, 5 movies have been selected, which are:
• "Miracle of bern" by Sonke Wortmann (Germany)
• "Chack de India" by Shmit Amin (India)
• "The Witness" by Nader Saeivar (Germany and Austria)
• "Glass Curtain" by Fikret Reyhan (Turkey)
• "Malu" by Pedro Freire (Brazil)
DOCUMENTARY FILMS IN WORLD VISION
He added, this year, 4 long documentary films from directors of different countries have been selected, the following titles are the entries:
• "Gospel of revolution" by François-Xavier Drouet (France)
• "Sisters of Wrestling" by Sarah Baril Gaudet (Canada)
• "After the Odyssey" by Helen Doyle (Canada)
• "Danielle Mitterrand, une certaine idée de la France" by Laurence Thiriat (France)
SHORT FILMS IN WORLD VISION
Bangin Ali, has stated, also, 11 short films have been selected for the out-of-competition World Vision section section, which are:
• "Nefta Football Club" by Yves Piat (France/Tunisia/Algeria)
• "Dammi" by Yann Mounir (France)
• "The ugly chickens" by Mark Raso (USA)
• "Talisman" (Nuhat fund Duhokiff) by Karar Hayder (Iraq)
• "My Homeland" by Tabarak Allah Abbas (Switzerland)
• "A missing portrait of a skateboarder" by Osama Anwar (Czech)
• "Bayan" by Luqman Qasemi (Denmark)
• "Cold at day, warm the night" by Nur Mohammed Tarhan (Germany)
• "Shadows" by Rand Beiruty (France/Jordan)
• "A Move" by Elahe Esmaili (Iran/UK)
• "Tradition" by Ali Rıza BAYAZIT (Turkey)

Hassan Arif, the Public Relations Manager of the 11th edition of Duhok International Film Festival, stated about the films of the out-of-competition Kurdish Panorama, in this section, two Kurdish movies have been selected, which are:
• "Şewe" by DeLovan Zandy (Kurdistan Region)
• "We Were Tricked" by KAZIM ÖZ (Turkey)
DOCUMENTARY FILMS IN KURDISH PANORAMA
He added, this year, 4 short documentary films have been selected for this section, the following are the entries:
• "In our garden there was an Olive Tree" by Miral Kilo (Germany)
• "A Sulitude Poem" by Kimiya Marzang (Iran)
• "Against Forgetting" by Azad Azizyan (Turkey)
• "Anthem below the oak Tress" by Halgurd Salih (Kurdistan Region)

Hassan Arif, has stated, in the out-of-competition Kurdish Panorama, 12 short fiction films have been selected, which are the following titles:

• "The Tailor" by Barzan Yunis (Kurdistan Region)
