In the frame of Content Americas, ducktv is celebrating a year of significant milestones while unveiling ambitious plans for the future. 2024 was a transformative year for the children’s edutainment channel, marked by successful expansions, impactful partnerships, and an unwavering commitment to providing enriching content for young audiences.
Ducktv’s foray into the Latin American market marked a significant step forward. The channel cemented its presence through a strategic mix of pay TV and FAST (Free Ad-Supported Television) deals, reaching millions of viewers across the region. Last year, ducktv launched on Samsung’s FAST platform in Mexico in February and in Brazil in March, making its content more accessible to families in these key markets. In December, the channel was added to the basic package of Totalplay, a leading Mexican telco owned by Grupo Salinas. This move instantly connected the channel with 2.4 million homes, significantly expanding its audience base. This deal was brokered by MBA Networks. Futhermore, Ducktv struck smaller yet impactful pay TV and FAST deals with notable players such as TCL (Brazil), Netrange (Argentina and Brazil), OTTIS (Colombia), VIDAA (across various Latin American countries).
NEW PARTNER
Additionally, ducktv teamed up with MBA Networks, a leading independent content distribution company in Latin America, to further expand its presence. MBA Networks now oversees the distribution of ducktv content across Latin America and the US Hispanic market through Linear, SVOD, APP, and FAST channel platforms.

Duck TV is attending Content Americas to promote its new IP "My Pet Family", where the preschooler Tony shows the audience how much joy, love and responsibility comes with owning pets. Molly, the cat and Lucas, the puppy give Tony all their love while they learn, play, eat, bath and share adventures together. Stories are backed by psychological research on how owning a pet is beneficial for children. "While enjoying 'My Pet Family' children will receive support in understanding responsibilities and that animals are to be respected, protected and loved", said Piotrowska.
PLANS FOR 2025
Building on the momentum of 2024, ducktv is setting its sights even higher for the coming year. The channel plans to deepen its presence in the Americas through expanded Pay TV, FAST, SVOD, and AVOD offerings. Key objectives for 2025 include:
• Further FAST Channel Launches: Strengthening its footprint in Latin America and exploring opportunities in other regions.
• New Streaming Deals: Collaborating with additional platforms to bring ducktv’s unique edutainment content to more households.
• Enhanced Content Sales: Leveraging its growing portfolio to secure distribution agreements across diverse markets.
