The horror sequel to Dick Maas’s 1988 cult classic, "Amsterdamned" starts production in Amsterdam and the release is scheduled for 2025.

The world premiere will take place on 20 October at Pathé Amsterdam Noord. The film was made possible with the support of the Netherlands Film Fund, Netherlands Production Incentive, CoBO, Luxembourg Film Fund, and Creative Europe Media. Beta Film is the international sales agent.

Production is set to begin later this year, with release scheduled for 2025, in time for the City of Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary.
