The Turkish drama, already a success across multiple Latin American markets, continues its international momentum with a key sale in Chile. Produced by TIMS&B and from the creators of "Bitter Lands," the series reinforces Inter Medya’s growing global reach.

The organization evaluated a total of 438 projects from 39 different countries, representing a 38% increase compared to last year. A breakdown by continent shows that 68% come from European countries (led by Portugal, France, Ukraine, and Italy, in addition to Spain), 31% are from the Americas (with Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and Mexico leading), and the remaining 1% originated from Asia.

Sebastián González and Amílcar Infante’s debut feature documentary will have its World Premiere at HotDocs and it will be part of their International Competition.

The title has previously sold to broadcasters in Spain, Chile, Colombia, Panama, Israel, North Macedonia, and to MBC in the MENA region, where the series aired day-in-date with its Turkish release each week.

"The Westies" will go into production in Toronto, Canada, in July, and will premiere exclusively on MGM+ in the U.S., UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and Colombia. Amazon MGM Studios Distribution will distribute in all other international territories.
