The new pavilion will be the destination for authentic and original African stories for international B2B co-productions, content distribution, licensing deals and business meeting.
The move follows a successful inaugural edition in Rio this year, which drew 700 professionals from 21 countries and facilitated over 600 business meetings, as Brazil deepens efforts to expand international co-productions and non-fiction content exports.
At the recently concluded “Television & Corporate Media” competition, several documentaries from ORF’s cultural programming, as well as the “Universum Nature” brand, received accolades in the “Documentary” category.
