A 67% of UK advertising professionals believe CTV is a more effective channel compared to linear TV, 68% say CTV provides excellent value for money and 68% say CTV reaches target audiences better than linear TV, according to Unruly.
In the case of Netflix's "Cobra Kai" a Nielsen analysis found that more than 10% of the program’s viewers during a one-week period of the study did not watch any linear TV. Additionally, more than one-third of viewers watched very little linear TV.
This percentage is much higher than the growth of linear TV, which only registered 11% in the same year. Likewise, the country evidenced a strong development of connected televisions.
Young consumers who watch online video spend almost as much time watching videos as they spend watching traditional TV shows and movies, noted Hub in its annual Video Redefined study.
