European media and entertainment company Sky and Studiocanal, Canal+’ Group’s film production and distribution company, have announced a partnership to bring Sky customers hundreds of hours of blockbuster movies.

The conference portion of NATPE Miami Virtual will take place January 19-22. The Marketplace will be open from January 19-29. The packed lineup includes top content industry executives from AMC, A+E, Canal+, CW, DMR, Eccho Rights, Endemol Shine, FilmRise, FOX, LiveLike, Premiere Digital, PBS, StudioCanal, Telemundo, and many more.

The deal with the South Korean OTT service includes "Possessions" and "War Of The World." It was brokered by Studiocanal's Senior Sales Manager Sarah Mottershead. Watcha previously acquired "Years and Years" from the producer/distributor.

This premium, five-episode television event, which starts production in March 2021, will air as a Quebecor Content and Canal+ Creation Originale in 2022. 

The show, created for CANAL+ Creation Original, was filmed in Israel in French, Hebrew, and English. The international Max original will be available on the US streaming platform in December 2020.
