Following the merger of Johnson Production Group and Reel One Entertainment, Studio TF1 America sets an ambitious 2025 slate with over 100 scripted hours. Backed by TF1 and A+E Global Media, the new studio aims to scale premium English-language content for global networks and streamers.
The channel features procedural crime, thriller, and mystery series from Europe for Spanish-speaking audiences in the United States and Latin America, and will have a total of 300 hours of content available, with an initial package of 190 hours.
In their new roles, they will report to Alex Hamilton, Chief International Officer Studiocanal and replace Kalle Friz who, after 16 years, will leave the company in July.
The film, directed by Heather Wilk and co-produced by The Cliburn and Red Entertainment, follows the professional and personal battle for the coveted prize at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.
