The six-part series will follow five U.K. contestants as they’re flown to South Korea and put through a rigorous 100-day K-pop training course in the hope of emerging as the world’s biggest new boy band. The show will launch on BBC One and iPlayer this summer. ITV Studios is repping international distribution for both the format and the show.
The bundle, offering access to Netflix, Peacock, Apple TV+, will be available at $15 per month as an add-on to Comcast Xfinity TV or broadband, and at $30 per month to combine the bundled apps with NOW TV, a separate package.
The new feature documentary is directed by Antony Crook, in association with Blazing Griffin, Adler Entertainment, Rock Action Records and Screen Scotland.
