The lineup includes ‘Through The Darkness’, ‘Missing: The Other Side’ season 1 and 2, ‘Blind’, ‘The King of Pigs’, ‘Evilive’ and the season 1 of ‘Taxi Driver’ spanning various genres and top-tier producers such as CJENM, SBS and Studio Genie.
Driven by Korean content demand, Netflix’s global influence, and strong government support, South Korea’s FAST market is projected to double in revenue and become the 12th largest worldwide.
The share of viewers outside the country who say they watch South Korean TV series or films ‘sometimes’ or ‘very often’ rose from 22% in Q1 2020 to 35% in Q1 2025, a 13% increase.
The collaboration will bring more Korean dramas, films, original titles, and dedicated channels to viewers in Korea and around the world, entirely free and with no subscription required.
Through this initiative, Korean leading company will select and support the development of film and scripted TV projects led by talented Asian creators.
