Omdia’s latest consumer survey revealed TikTok surpassed 1.9 billion monthly active users globally, including 145 million MAUs in the USA, and amassed $63.3 billion (including China) in video revenues.
During a keynote, Maria Rua Aguete, Head of Media and Entertainment at Omdia, explained that programming spend is projected to rebound in 2025, reaching $206 billion after a challenging 2024, representing a 5.3% global growth.
A new research by Omdia revealed that by 2029, bundling is expected to generate 540 million online video streaming subscriptions, or 25% of the global market.
