The three-part series, produced by Blue Ant Studios in collaboration with Sky UK and Peacock, will air on Sky Documentaries and streaming service NOW on 28th June 2021.

The project, titled “Somos Los Prietos,” is being developed in coordination with Sony Music Latin and marks the first cross-company collaboration between SPT international production and Sony Music in Latin America.

The Co-President of SPT Studios will be departing the company later this month after more than 16 years. He will be joining Apple TV+ in a senior programming role on the domestic development team.

The company has tapped Sony Pictures Television to handle global TV and digital distribution licensing for all of its titles. The deal also includes 64 Morgan Creek films to which Revolution owns international distribution rights.
