During its second quarter of the year earnings report, Netflix announced that it has added 5.9 million new paid subscribers, taking its total number to 238.4 million global paid memberships.
For this new strategy, the company has recruited former Beyond Rights CEO Kate Llewellyn-Jones to work with production companies, content creators and other rights owners to help ensure their untapped rights can be successfully monetised.
Through fierce competition, total 24 series and 30 candidates were nominated coming from South Korea, China, France, Greece, Iran, Mexico, among others.
