“Our stories are your stories” is the short film that all the public broadcaster had launched simultaneously to celebrate the role UK broadcasters play across the culture.

The collection of stories were filmed using equipment found at home., created under at home as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Lorenzo Mieli, Juan de Dios Larraín, and Pablo Larraín have gathered filmmakers from all around the world to join the project.

Many of the films were licensed by Front Row Filmed Entertainment and have been available on Netflix since 18th June, accessible to 183 million members. The stories that inspired the films come from Kuwait, Egypt, and Morocco, among other African regions.

The digital event presented live the panel “Chilean New Horizons” in collaboration with CinemaChile. Last year, Chile was the America Focus Country in Conecta Fiction 3, presenting projects, producers, and co-productions such as “Invisible Heroes”.

Susan Wojcicki, CEO of the company, announced a multi-year $100 million fund dedicated “to amplifying and developing the voices of Black creators and artists and their stories”.
