Globally distributed by Banijay Rights, the emotionally-driven series has sold to markets including France, Australia and the US. The news comes as Göteborg Film Festival TV Drama Vision gets under way.
The deal includes an initial 14 hours of content that will be exclusive to NTV in Germany, including two new series currently in production at Big Media: "Has#tag Homicide" and "Breaking News/Decoded."
Other potential changes include allowing the BBC to introduce advertising, implementing a separate tax on streaming platforms, or requiring BBC radio listeners to contribute financially.
The new series consist of six self-contained episodes, each featuring a well-known personality from the worlds of culture, sports, politics and business.
"Babyriki" Season 4 and "Beardy Bodo Travel Season" are available on the kids platform and promise to capture the hearts of preschoolers and their families.
