"First Lady" and other popular programs from GMA Network are headed for Viu beginning June 17, giving viewers more GMA shows to watch on the streaming platform. Meanwhile, its drama, “Pulang Araw,” is set to premiere on Netflix this July.

The deals include more than 250 hours of scripted and factual content covering the lifestyle, true crime, history, and science genres. Some of them involve specific genre-based channels joining established players across the region.

Through this partnership, companies will co-finance and produce 60 hours of unscripted content in the history and science genres over the next three years.

Iginio Straffi, Creator and Founder of Rainbow, said that the show "pushes the boundaries of animation quality for TV."

The new production company will focus on developing new shows and movies targeting diverse audiences, encompassing both animation and live-action genres.
